I have been a trademark “horse girl” since I first took a riding lesson at age 10. I locally competed in dressage and eventing until college. While attending Purdue University, I rode on the Purdue Equestrian Team and served on the Executive Board for two terms, earning my BA in Public Relations in 2011. After graduation I relocated to Savannah, GA with my husband and began working in veterinary hospital administration.

In 2017 I settled down to be a stay at home mom with the birth of my son, Reed, and I found a new partnership with an older horse named Goose. Immediately upon bringing him home, I started any and every regimen to support him - massage being one of them. For Goose, it was the absolute game changer. My perspectives were forever changed (an evolution that has never quite ended!) on what it meant to have a sound horse.

I started massage school for him. I received my initial certification through the Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage (RMSAAM), one of the very few accredited equine massage trade schools in the country. I can't say I thought of this being a job for myself in these early stages, but that changed during my externship hours, and before I knew it I accidentally fell backwards into my life's passion.

I am a certified Equine Therapeutic Massage Therapist (ETMT) and and Certified Large Animal PEMF Practitioner through the AOPP. I have also have pursued education in equine anatomy and physiology, kinesiology taping, cupping and IASTM, Trigger Point Therapy, and equine nutrition, as well as continuously seeking mentoring and collaboration with other therapists around the globe.

The studying and thirst for learning truly never ends for me. Most recently I am registered to continue my university studies to complete a BS in Applied Biology beginning Spring of 2022. My aim is to go for my Master's degree and beyond - so that I can enter the world of scientific study on early equine development and bio-mechanics.

But beyond all the titles, classes, and certifications in the world - my greatest teacher continues to be my own horse. Behind him, it's my clients!

I am also an active adult amateur event rider in the DFW area and a proud business supporter of the North Texas Eventing Association (NTEA). I am insured by the Hands On Trade Association and a member of the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork (IAAMB/ACWT).
